Farben, welche an der Kleidung von Männern und Frauen empfohlen (mustahabb), unerwünscht (makrūh) und verboten (harām) sind Frage (Nr. 2843): Gibt es irgendwelche Farben, die ein Muslim bzw. eine Muslima nicht an der Kleidung haben darf? Antwort: Alles Lob gebührt Allah. Bevor wir diese Frage beantworten, sollten wir auf einen wichtigen Punkt hinweisen, nämlich dass das Grundprinzip hinsichtlich der Farben der Kleidung von Männern und Frauen lautet, dass alle Farben erlaubt sind, außer es gibt einen Text in der Scharī`ah, der eine bestimmte Farbe für Männer oder Frauen verbietet. Es gibt Scharī`ah-Texte, die das Tragen einer bestimmten Farbe empfehlen und das Tragen einer anderen Farbe verbieten, wie z. B. die folgenden: Schwarz: Umm Khālid bint Khālid sagte: „Dem Propheten (Allahs Frieden und Segen seien auf ihm) wurden einige Kleidungsstücke gebracht, unter denen ein kleines schwarzes Khamīsah war. Er sagte: `Wem denkt ihr, sollten wir dies geben?` Die Leute blieben still. Da sagte er: `Bringt mir Umm Khālid`, und sie wurde zu ihm getragen. Er nahm das Khamīsah in seine Hand, legte es auf sie und sagte: `Mögest du lange leben und es entsprechend abtragen.` Es gab ein grünes oder gelbes Muster darauf und er sagte: `Oh Umm Khālid, das ist sanāh (gut).` und sanāh ist ein abessinisches Wort." (Bukhāri). Jābir (möge Allah mit ihm zufrieden sein) sagte: „Ich sah den Gesandten Allahs (Allahs Frieden und Segen seien auf ihm) am Tag der Eroberung von Makkah, wie er einen schwarzen Turban trug." (Muslim). `Ā'ischah (möge Allah mit ihr zufrieden sein) sagte: „Ich machte einen schwarzen Burdah (Mantel) für den Gesandten Allahs (Allahs Frieden und Segen seien auf ihm) und er trug ihn, doch wenn er darin schwitzte, nahm er den Geruch von Wolle daran wahr und daher zog er ihn aus, denn er mochte angenehme Gerüche." (Abu Dawud; al-Hākim sagte (4/188): „Er ist sahīh nach den Bedingungen der zwei Scheikhs."; al-Dhahabi stimmte mit ihm überein; Scheikh al-Albāni sagte in al-Sahīhah (5/168, Nr. 2136): „Es ist, wie sie sagten."; Abu Dawud nannte das Kapitel in seinem Sunan „Bāb fi-l-Suwād" – Kapitel über schwarze Kleidung; der Autor von `Aun al-Ma`būd (11/126) sagte: „Der Hadīth bestätigt, dass es erlaubt ist, Schwarz zu tragen, und dass daran nichts makrūh ist."). Schwarz ist sowohl für Männer als auch für Frauen gestattet. Eine der falschen Innovationen (Bid`ah) hinsichtlich dieser Farbe ist die Praxis, absichtlich schwarze Kleidung in Zeiten der Trauer zu tragen, was außerdem eine Imitation der Christen darstellt. Scheikh Muhammad ibn Sālih al-`Uthaymīn sagte (Fatāwa Islamiyah 3/313): „Das Tragen von Schwarz in Zeiten der Trauer ist ein falsches Symbol, welches keine Grundlage hat. In Zeiten der Trauer sollten die Leute das tun, was im Islam angeordnet wurde, nämlich zu sagen `Innā Lillāhi wa inna ilayhi rāji'ūn. Allāhumma ajirni fi musībati wa-khluf li khayran minhā` (Wahrlich, zu Allah gehören wir und zu Ihm kehren wir zurück. Oh Allah, belohne mich für mein Unglück und ersetze es mir durch etwas Besseres als das). Wenn jemand dies mit Glauben und Hoffnung auf die Belohnung sagt, den wird Allah dafür entschädigen und ihm das, was er verlor, durch etwas Besseres ersetzen." Er sagte weiterhin: „Bestimmte Kleidung zum Trauern auszuwählen, ist unserer Meinung nach eine Handlung der Bid`ah (Neuerung), und dadurch könnte ausgedrückt werden, dass jemand mit der Bestimmung Allahs nicht zufrieden ist." Weiß: Abu Dharr (möge Allah mit ihm zufrieden sein) sagte: „Ich kam zum Propheten (Allahs Frieden und Segen seien auf ihm) und er trug ein weißes Kleidungsstück und schlief. Ich kam (später) zu ihm zurück und er war erwacht…" (Bukhāri in seinem sahīh Werk, in einem Kapitel, welches er „Bāb al-Thiyāb al-Bīd" – Das Kapitel über weiße Kleidung nannte).
