    In der Zeit von Umar ibn Al-Khattab, als er an Anhängern des Zoroastrismus (Al-Majuus) vorbeilief, so sagte er zu seinen Gefährten: "Ich weiß nicht, was ich in solch einer Situation tun soll."

    AbdulRahman ibn Auf sagte: "Ich bezeuge, dass ich gehört habe, wie der Prophet (Frieden und Segen auf ihm) sagte: "Behandle sie, wie du die Leute der Schrift (Ahlul-Kitab) behandeln würdest."

    Aufgrund dieser Überlieferung, haben die islamischen Rechtsgelehrten (Fuqaha) so gut wie einstimmig (Konsens) geurteilt, dass die Zoroastrier so behandelt werden sollen, wie die Leute der Schrift in allen Aspekten, außer beim Essen und der Heirat.

    Ihnen wird die Freiheit von allen Bürgern gewährt: Bewegungsfreiheit, Religionsfreiheit und ein würdiges Leben.

Sie werden Männer verführen und zu ihnen geneigt sein. Ihre Köpfe werden wie die schwankenden Höcker der Kamele sein. Sie werden weder das Paradies betreten, noch dessen Geruch riechen, obwohl dessen Geruch von so, so weiter Entfernung gerochen werden kann."

    Stellungnahme der Syrischen Nationalen Koalition zum Kampf gegen
    den Terrorismus im Nahen und Mittleren Osten

    Die Syrische Nationale Koalition begrüßt ausdrücklich die gezielten Luftschläge der USA gegen die Terrorgruppe Islamischer Staat (IS) im Irak. Die Hilfe für religiöse Minderheiten ist ein wichtiges Zeichen der Mitmenschlichkeit und Solidarität der Menschen in Not. Indessen sind die Opfer der IS in Syrien und Irak überwiegend muslimischen Glaubens. Auch sie sind schutzbedürftige Menschen.

    Die Terroristen der IS sind aus der Luft alleine nicht zu besiegen. Dazu bedarf es einer koordinierten und nachhaltigen Strategie der internationalen Gemeinschaft zur Bekämpfung ihrer Ursachen. Die Syrische Nationale Koalition weist darauf hin, dass das Assad-Regime über zehn Jahre hinweg die Al-Qaida im Irak unterstützt hat. Auch haben die Verbrechen des Assad-Regimes an der syrischen Bevölkerung die größte menschliche Katastrophe unserer Zeit verursacht. Dieser ungeahndete Terrorismus hält ungehindert an.

    Seit Januar 2014 führt die Freie Syrische Armee (FSA) einen Zweifrontenkrieg gegen das Assad-Regime und IS. Die moderaten syrischen Oppositionskräfte können diesen Kampf nicht alleine gewinnen. Die humanitären und strategischen Ziele der
    zivilisierten Welt liegen in einer Unterstützung der moderaten Oppositionskräfte, ohne die der demokratische Wiederaufbau des Nahen und Mittleren Osten unmöglich ist.
