    See the thing about gratitude is that it's not taught in books. No one can teach you how to be grateful. You can be taught how to 'show' gratitude, but the same can't be applied to actually being grateful. This is because gratitude lies in the heart. It's what you feel. You can not merely expect gratitude to enter your heart upon you saying 'I feel grateful.' You must feel it. Hence no one can teach you how to feel something, because that's really and truly down to you.

    Similarly, regardless of however many lectures you may listen to - on patience, they can't make you patient. Such talks can help you achieve patience, but they just can't do the job for you. Because such feelings have been created by Allah for the human heart. And it is only He who can bestow such qualities upon a being as weak as a human. We are in dire need of Allah's assistance. So when we submit to Allah, it is imperative that we ask Him to bestow upon us qualities of patience and gratitude.
    Shaytaan vowed to lead man astray, partly because man is ungrateful and this ingratitude is firmly linked to patience, or lack of it.
    For the heart which loses patience can gradually become ungrateful to Allah in regards to the many other favours He has bestowed.

    The happiest you can be is when you're content with what you have. The more you want, the unhappier you may feel if you can't attain whatever it may be. But being satisfied with whatever little you have, is the greatest gift of all.
    The beggar may go to sleep hungry with little or no food to fill his stomach, but he is happy because his shoulders aren't burdened with worry, rather he takes everyday as it comes. Where as the business man can barely stomach any food because he is ridden with the worry of paying off bills, loans, mortgages and more. This is the worry with which he sleeps and this is the worry with which he wakes.
    So what if you can't have the most luxurious life in the dunya, at least you can have it in Jannah right?
    Less is more.

    Über unsere verstoßenen Schwestern

    Manchmal entstehen bei uns gewisse Verständnisse und daraus eine Einstellung, die dem Islam eigentlich widerspricht, die wir ihm aber dennoch zuschreiben und sie mit Scheinargumenten legitimieren.

    Wenn man ans Heiraten denkt, würden heutzutage leider die wenigsten jungen Muslime es in Erwägung ziehen eine Schwester zu heiraten, die bereits einmal verheiratet war und sich scheiden lassen hat oder verwitwet ist.

    Denn wie sehen die Gesellschaft und die meisten unserer Kulturen die geschiedene Frau? Sie wird als Schande gesehen und oftmals sogar von der eigenen Familie wenig unterstützt, so sieht nun mal die Realität aus.

    Wie kommt es aber überhaupt dazu?

    Interessanterweise war so eine Einstellung zur Zeit des Propheten (a.s.s.) und der Sahaba nicht wirklich vertreten. Die Sahaba ließen sich von ihren Frauen scheiden und die Sahabiyat wurden wieder geheiratet ohne irgendwelche Probleme. Es gab keine Mentalität von "Sie ist geschieden, deshalb ist sie abzuweisen." Genauso war die Scheidung keine Angelegenheit, die selten auftrat. Die Scheidungsrate bei den Sahaba und Sahabiyat war relativ hoch. Der Unterschied zwischen den Scheidungen bei ihnen und der Gesellschaft im Westen ist aber der Grund dahinter.

    Denn die Muslime haben sich damals scheiden lassen, wenn sie gesehen haben, dass die Ehe einfach nicht mehr harmonisiert und es islamisch gesehen nicht mehr weiter produktiv ist.

    Hier im Westen aber liegen die Gründe dafür bei Unzufriedenheit mit dem Aussehen des Partners (was auch zum Fremdgehen führt), dass man nicht klar kommt mit zu wenig Geld usw. - also eher banale Gründe.

    D.h. es ist natürlich nicht schön zu sehen, dass sich eine muslimische Frau und ein muslimischer Mann scheiden lassen müssen, aber völlig in Ordnung, wenn man seine islamrechtlichen Gründe dafür hat. Und es ist vor allem wichtig zu verstehen, dass weder der Mann und erst Recht nicht die Frau dadurch an Frömmigkeit und Ehre verliert.

    Genau so behandeln wird unsere Schwestern nämlich, wie etwas das an Wert verloren hat.

    Vielleicht kennen einige Brüder diese Situation bereits: Eine Schwester stellt sich einem vor und es stellt sich heraus, dass sie bereits einmal in einer Ehe war.

    Nun taucht ein bestimmtes Meinungsbild über sie auf, das ihr überhaupt nicht gebührt und das auch NICHT vom Islam kommt!

    Man weist sie aufgrund ihres Status ab, denn es wird einem eingetrichtert: "Eine Frau, die geschieden ist, kann nicht gut sein, denn sie hat sich bereits einmal von ihrem Ehemann scheiden lassen."

    Dabei ist die Rede nicht von Schwestern im hohen Alter - wir reden hier von jungen Schwestern im Alter von 19-25 Jahren. Sie müssen ein Leben ohne Ehe führen, weil niemand sie mehr möchte - subhana'Allah!

    Es geht dabei gar nicht um die persönliche Bevorzugung. Denn selbst der Prophet Mohammed (a.s.s.) hat es beispielsweise empfohlen eine Jungfrau zu heiraten und es ist klar, dass einige mit dem Gedanken nicht klar kommen können, dass die Frau bereits einmal "berührt" wurde. Es geht vielmehr um die gesellschaftliche und/oder kulturelle Einstellung von der man beeinflusst ist, wovon letztendlich die Entscheidung abhängt und die einem sagt, dass so eine Person schlechter sei als eine Jungfrau.

    Und obwohl der Prophet (a.s.s.) diese Empfehlung gab, heiratete er selbst fast ausschließlich geschiedene/verwitwete Frauen.

    Sowohl die Ehe mit einer Jungfrau als auch mit einer Nicht-Jungfrau hat seine Vor-und Nachteile.

    Beispielsweise hat der Sahabi Jabir bin 'Abdullah sich nicht für eine Jungfrau entschieden mit der Begründung, dass sie dadurch etwas mehr Erfahrung hat und sie sich um seine jüngeren Schwestern kümmern könne.

    Am Ende bleibt die Entscheidung jedem selbst überlassen, und ich wäre wahrscheinlich selbst nicht auf dieses Thema gekommen, hätte mich jemand nicht darauf aufmerksam gemacht, aber wichtig ist nach welchem Kriterium wir unsere Entscheidungen im Leben festlegen.

    Dschābir (RadīAllāhu 'anhu) überliefert, dass der Gesandte Allāhs (SallAllāhu 'alayhi wa sallam) sagte:

    "Die fünf täglichen Gebete sind wie ein Fluss, der vor deiner Tür strömt und in welchem du fünfmal am Tag badest."

    [Riyād as-Sālihīn Nr. 429/Muslim]

    Das bedeutet, dass sich der Betende durch das Gebet von seinen Sünden reinigt, wie der Badende von Schmutz.

    ALLAH HELPS THOSE WHO HELP OTHERS

    On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

    "Whoever removes a worldly grief from a believer, Allah will remove from him one of the griefs of the Day of Resurrection. And whoever alleviates the need of a needy person, Allah will alleviate his needs in this world and the Hereafter. Whoever shields [or hides the misdeeds of] a Muslim, Allah will shield him in this world and the Hereafter.
    Allah will aid His slave so long as he aids his brother. And whoever follows a path to seek knowledge therein, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. No people gather together in one of the Houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, except that sakeenah (tranquility) descends upon them, and mercy envelops them, and the angels surround them, and Allah mentions them amongst those who are with Him. And whoever is slowed down by his actions, will not be hastened forward by his lineage."

    It was related by Muslim in these words.

    Denn ALLAH sagt sinngemäß

    Al-'Imran (3) Ayah (Vers) Nr.: 85

    وَمَن يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الإِسْلاَمِ دِيناً فَلَن يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
    [3:85] Und wer eine andere Religion als den Islam begehrt: nimmer soll sie von ihm angenommen werden, und im Jenseits wird er unter den Verlierern sein.

    Der Vers ihr habt eure Religion und ich habe meine Religion sagt aus das man nicht in der Religion Kompromisse eingeht, nicht aber das es egal wäre was man glaubt.
    Möge ALLAH bewahren !!!
