Viele können bis heute nichteinmal auf Arabisch sagen wie sie heißen, noch wissen sie etwas über die Grundlagen des Fiqh oder der Ḥadīthwissenschaft, natürlich haben sie auch nie ein ʿAqīdah-Werk bei einem Gelehrten durchgenommen, meistens sogar auch keine ʿUmrah oder Ḥajj gemacht und die Liste geht noch in's Unendlich weiter. Das Leben ist kurz, vielleicht nur 50,60,70 Jahre und wir alle haben schon einen beträchtlichen Teil davon abgeschlossen. Wärest du zufrieden bei Allah mit deinen jetzigen Taten zu stehen? Dein Gedächtnis und deine Gesundheit wird nicht mehr besser mit den Tagen die vor dir liegen, sondern immer schlechter. Wieso ist es so einfach, sich einen kurzen emotionalen Vortrag anzuschauen, der einen danach vielleicht nichtmal beeinflusst, aber unfassbar schwer bis unmöglich, über einen längeren Zeitraum Arabisch zu lernen, oder anderen islamische Wissenschaften? Wir müssen endlich realisieren wofür wir von Allah auf diese Erde gesetzt wurden - um IHM zu dienen und für diese Dienerschaft ist Wissen von Nöten, deshalb muss jeder nach seiner Möglichkeit danach streben, auch wenn es vielleicht anstrengend oder bitter sein mag, aber die Süße und Einsicht die man dadurch erlangt, lässt sich nicht mit irgendetwas anderem vergleichen. Wieso sind die großen Gelehrten so geworden wie sie waren? Weil sie auf Facebook Takfīr, Tabdīʿ oder "Widerlegungen" geschrieben haben? Nein, sie haben sich hingesetzt, ihren MUND gehalten und JEDEN TAG gelernt! Sie haben realisiert, dass sie unbedeutend sind (als sie noch Schüler waren) und dass sie die Gelehrten benötigen und jeden der ihnen Wissen vermitteln kann ihren Respekt und ihr Ohr verdient. Sie haben nicht nach einem oder zwei Jahren des Lernens Vorträge gehalten oder über die bedeutenden Fragestellungen der Ummah gesprochen, sondern haben gelernt, gelernt, gelernt, trockene Fächer die viel Auswendiglernen erfordern und langes Aufbleiben und fleißiges Forschen und Müdigkeit und Erschöpfung, aber DANN und DESHALB sind sie das geworden, was sie waren - Imāme der Religion und Persönlichkeiten, zu denen Millionen von Menschen aufschauen. Zuallererst richte ich diese Worte an mich, da ich mich davon nicht ausschließe und selber merke, wie ich mich mit Dingen beschäftige, die unter den Jugendlichen Thema Nr.1 und sehr umstritten sind. Aber Tag für Tag realisiere ich deshalb, dass diese Beschäftigung - auch wenn die Themen unendlich wichtig scheinen - einen persönlich in der Religion nicht weiterführen! Das einzige was dich weiterführt ist das sture, ausdauernde, langfristige und Schritt-für-schrittige Lernen, Fragen & Forschen. Er begann und vervollständigte das Auswendiglernen des Qur'āns im Alter von 12 Jahren. Er begann das Erlernen der Grundlagen der arabischen Grammatik und des Erbrechts und lernte bei seinem Vater zahlreiche Werke über Wissenschaften wie ʿAqīdah und Ḥadīth. Sein Vater besaß eine Bücherei in der sich der Shaykh den ganzen Tag aufhielt und las.Desweiteren lernte er beim Richter der Stadt Al-Rayn ʿAbd Al ʿAzīz Al-Shathrī alias "Abū Ḥabīb". Einige Zeit später ging dieser Shaykh mit seinem Schüler Ibn Jibrīn nach Al-Riyāḍ und Ibn Jibrīn schrieb sich dort im „Maʿhad al-ʿIlmī" als Student ein und ging nach seinem Abschluss dort, an die „Imām Muḥammad bin Saʿūd Universität" und machte dort seinen Abschluss und ging dann in das „Maʿhad Al-ʿĀlī li Al-Qaḍā'" (eine Uni für islamische Rechtssprechung) und machte dort seinen Magister und seinen Doktor. Der Shaykh Ibn Jibrīn war Schüler unter zahlreichen bekannten Gelehrten. Zu den berühmtesten gehören: 1- Shaykh Muḥammad Ibn Ibrāhīm Āl Al-Shaykh 2- Shaykh ʿAbd Al ʿAzīz Al Shathrī (Abū Ḥabīb) 3- Shaykh ʿAbd Al ʿAzīz Ibn Bāz 4- Shaykh ʿAbdallah bin Ḥumayd 5- Shaykh ʿAbd Al Razzāq Al ʿAfīfī Nach diesen langen Jahren des Studiums begann unser Shaykh Ibn Jibrīn als Lehrer in der Sharīʿah-Fakultät tätig zu sein und war Mitglied im Komitee der Großgelehrten und vieles mehr. Er gab um die 30 Unterrichte pro Woche und besaß ein eigenes Büro in dem er Gäste empfing, Fatāwa gab, Eheverträge abschloss, Bedürftigen Unterstützung gab uvm., nach dem der Shaykh in die Pension von seinen offiziellen Stellen ging, fuhr er fort im Dienste der Menschen und des Islāms zu sein. Diese kurze Biographie kommt der Stellung dieses Großgelehrten nicht wirklich nahe, aber vom Leben eines Gelehrten zu hören ist stets eine Freude für den Muslim.
