    Let me take you back to the 4th Century after Hijra. In Baghdad, Iraq lived a mathematician and a mufti called Stayta Amatu AlWahid Bint AlHussien.

    She was from a family of renowned scientists her grandfather was known to be the Muhadith (a great narrator of Hadeeth) of Baghdad and her son and grandson were well-known judges.

    She studied with her father and it was soon apparent that she had a great talent for memorization, she memorized the Quran and Shafi'i jurisprudence until it was said that she was the most knowledgeable in Sahfi jurisprudence .

    She also mastered the science of inheritance and Arabic grammar and reached such a high degree of knowledge that she was appointed mufti and began to give a fatwas with Ali ibn Abi Hurayr .

    This was not all she excelled in however, she was also a great Mathematician. It was noted that Mathematics Professor Salim Al-Hassani said; " when people built their homes and contracted workers , they sometimes ran into problems with the contracts for example if those they had contracted only built half the house , people would take these matters to the judge who would use an experts account , such as Stayta who was used as a scientific witness in the courts of Baghdad ; where she would solve mathematical issues and equations that the judges themselves were unable to resolve. "

    She also solved many mathematical problems using innovative solutions.

    She also narrated many Hadeeths

    Historians said that "She was virtuous, charitable and quick to do good deeds"

    She died in the month of Ramadan in the year 987 AD

    In einem offenen Brief richtet sich der abgesetzte ägyptische Präsident Mohamed Mursi an sein Volk. Der Brief soll am 4. Juni aus seinem Gefängnis in Alexandria geschmuggelt worden sein. Anlass ist dem Anschein nach, die erneute Präsidentschaftswahl zu Ende Mai, die sein Absetzer Abdel-Fatah Al-Sisi wie vorhergesehen gewann.
    Im Brief beschreibt Mursi die niedrige Wahlbeteilung als einen Sieg „gegen die Putschisten" und fordert Ägypter weiterhin dazu auf gewaltlos zu protestieren und die neuen Institutionen nicht anzuerkennen. Im folgenden liegt der Brief in kompletter Fassung in deutscher Sprache vor.

    An das revolutinäre und ehrenhafte Volk,
    Allah hat unserer gesegneten Revolution vorgeschrieben, durch Schwierigkeiten und Probleme bis zum Schluss gehindert zu werden. Doch Allah hat die richtigen Menschen dafür ausgewählt, diese auf ihren Schultern zu tragen. Frauen, Männer und Revolutionäre, die nicht nur Ägypten stolz machen, sondern auch alle anderen Nationen.
    An die freien Revolutionäre, geht den Weg eurer friedlichen und reinen Revolution weiter. Weiter mit großem Willen und großer Standhaftigkeit, denn eure Revolution wird bald siegreich sein. Und hinter euch steht der Großteil eines Volks, das nur darauf wartet, dass ihr ihm eine Atmosphäre der Revolution vorbereitet, sodass es der ganzen Welt zeigen kann wie lautstark es ist, nachdem es der ganzen Welt zeigte wie ruhig und still es sein kann. Wenn es darum geht bei einem Theaterstück von einer Wahl, wie die der Putschisten, teilzunehmen. Die Putschisten wollten ein unaufgeklärtes, zurückgebliebenes Volk für ihre Wahl, doch sie bekamen ein aufgeklärtes Volk, dieses traf sie wie ein Schlag ins Gesicht. Deshalb haltet zusammen und streitet euch nicht, sodass eure Kräfte sich vereinen und Misserfolg zu keiner Option wird.
    Allah ist mein Zeuge, ich habe nicht das Geringste meiner Kräfte gespart, weder auf den rechtlichen noch auf den revolutionären Weg um die Korruption und undemokratische Kriminalität zu bekämpfen. So lag ich mal richtig und mal falsch, jedoch habe ich nie euer Vertrauen missbraucht und werde es auch nie tun. Ich verbrachte Jahre meines Lebens damit, ihre Korruption zu bekämpfen und werde es weiterhin machen, bis mir keine Zeit in meinem Leben mehr verbleibt.
    An die jungen Menschen des Volkes, ihr habt die Welt ins Staunen gebracht mit eurer Standhaftigkeit und eurem Willen, die Revolution fortzusetzen. Euch gehören das Heute und das Morgen. Ihr seid die Gegenwart, die Zukunft und ihr seid die Nation. Die Revolution ist an eurem Willen gebunden und ich bin mir sicher, dass ihr ihren Namen und ihren Stolz wiederherstellt. So hört nicht auf, die Revolution nach vorne zu treiben und bleibt geduldig. Allah ist mein Zeuge, ich sehe vor mir wie die späteren Generationen ihren Kindern erzählen, wie geduldig und willensstark ihr wart und somit eine siegreiche Revolution geschafft habt.
    Alle freien Völker der Welt haben dieses kriminelle Putschisten-Regime, aufgrund der Fortsetzung der friedlichen ägyptischen Revolution nicht angenommen und es wird auch kein freier Mensch dieser Welt irgendeine Ungültigkeit dieses ungültigen Systems annehmen.
    Schließlich möchte ich euch, das mächtige Volk, ans Herz legen eure Revolution und eure hochwertigen Ziele immer im Zentrum eurer Konzentration und eures Denkens zu behalten. Denn das Blut der Opfer und die Wunden der Verletzten werden nie umsonst sein, solange es jemanden gibt, der die Revolution an höchste Stelle setzt und dafür kämpft. Es ist ein harter Weg, aber ich glaube an eure Standhaftigkeit und an die Richtigkeit eurer Revolution. Möge Allah euch segnen und euch für euer Land stark machen.
