    A Bosnian Muslim pilgrim who left last December 2011 on pilgrimage to Makkah by foot told AFP on Monday that he has arrived after passing through seven countries including war-torn Syria.

    "I arrived Saturday in Makkah. I am not tired, these are the best days of my life," Senad Hadzic, 47, said when reached by phone on a Saudi mobile number.

    Wenn ich Ramadan sage, was fällt euch dazu ein, ganz spontan? Fasten, Ibadah, Gemeimschaft, Tarawih, gemeinsames Iftar, gemeinsames Frühstück, Freunde und Familie besuchen, dann kommt Eid , Geschenke, die kleinen Kinderaugen leuchten, alle machen sich hübsch, lachen und genießen den Tag... Jetzt sage ich euch "Gefangenschaft" und Ramadan wirkt auf einmal sehr bedrückend. Unsere Brüder und Schwestern sind allein, in ihren Zellen, es wird keine Rücksicht auf sie genommen. Was müssen sie tun? Sie nehmen sich Essen auf ihre Zelle, falls es ihnen gestattet wird. Sie brechen ihr fasten allein. Sie beten kein Tarawih in Gemeinschaft, auch zum Suhoor kommt niemand, auch hier essen sie das was in ihren Zellen übrig geblieben ist. Zum Eid können sie nicht zum Gebet gehen, sie werden ihre Familien und Freunde am diesem Tag nicht in die Arme nehmen können. Wie können wir es unseren Geschwistern in Gefangenschaft leichter machen? Jeder sollte sich fragen was er sich in dieser Situation wünschen würde....
