    "Versucht, das Richtige zu verrichten, ohne dass ihr euch übergebt,
    und wisst, dass keiner von euch ins Paradies durch seine Taten eingeht (sondern NUR mit der Barmherzigkeit Allāhs),
    und dass die beliebtesten (guten) Taten bei Allāh solche sind, die REGELMÄßIG begangen werden, auch dann, wenn sie gering sind."

    "So what's different about the Afghan Presidential Elections this weekend?
    Does anyone living on planet Earth, even for a second, believe that they are free and fair elections, void of external interference and private and/or foreign meddling?
    What a ridiculous thing to say!
    'free and fair' elections?
    They don't exist!
    Democracy wasn't invented by accident. It was deliberately engineered to protect specific interests, preserve and protect a set of circumstances, a specific ideology and way of life.
    And whoever can fulfil those conditions is eligible for the job.
    I'm sorry to burst your bubble (actually, I'm not). But its not 'different' this time, and it won't be 'different' next time.
    It exists for a reason.
    It is an imposition.
    Under the pre-text of 'freedom' and 'human rights' they invaded and occupied a 'sovereign land' for over a decade. They annihilated an entire people. They orphaned an entire generation. And now you can just move on and just get over it. Now "they're" the peace keepers, the 'freedom fighters'. They came to enlighten and free the 3rd world from the shackles of ignorance and oppression... **sigh**
    Who are you kidding?
    The honest truth is that the elections that will be held this weekend are irrelevant.
    It's simply an exercise to pass the baton to the next US stooge.
    I mean we haven't even discussed the Islamic position on electing someone to rule by other than what Allah (swt) revealed.
    That would end the discussion right then and there.
    But it appears that some people need to be slapped on the face by their "allies" a few times before they wake up and smell the rotting cheese.
    So ask yourself this question: Is your allegiance to Islam and your aim to protect the interests of Islam or are your allegiances to something less, and your aim something less than Islam?
    So work for something real. Work for that which Allah (swt) has obliged upon you.
    Reject these phony democratic charades.
    These democratic merry-go-rounds will spin round and round... you'll come back in 3 years time debating the exact same topics for the exact same reasons... but how will you answer your Lord on the day of judgement?
    When no amount of wealth, or status can help you.
    How will you justify electing someone to rule by other than what Allah (swt) has revealed?
    You will be complicit to their crimes.
