Die Bedeutung der Zufriedenheit
"Und so nimm, was Ich dir gegeben habe und gehöre zu den Dankbaren." (Quran 7:144)
Die Zufriedenheit (Rida) mit dem, was Allah (Subhana wa ta'ala) den Menschen bestimmt hat, fällt den meisten Menschen sehr schwer. Sie wünschen sich ein größeres Vermögen, prächtigere Häuser, schönere Frauen oder reichere Männer, besserere Kinder oder teuerere Autos - nicht zuletzt weil sie "besser" sein wollen wie ihre Brüder oder Schwestern, d.h. sie wollen sie in Wahrheit erniedrigen. "Es beherrscht euch das Streben nach mehr..." (Sura 102 al-Takathur) Doch dieser Drang nach mehr u. mehr macht den Menschen weder glücklich noch zufrieden. Häufig ist bspw. ein Schwelgen im Luxus der Grund für Sünde und den tiefen Fall des Menschen-*. Viele sagen: Wenn ich noch dies u. das habe - ja, dann bin ich zufrieden. Und so wird die Zufriedenheit immer weiter hinausgeschoben - wenn man das eine hat, will man noch das andere. Solche Menschen werden nie zufrieden oder glücklich sein. Entweder man ist zufrieden oder nicht. Wer glücklich sein will, muss sich von der Anhaftung an das Materielle bzw. diesem Drang nach immer mehr lösen, er (bzw.sie) muss sein Einkommen, seine familiäre Situation usw. so akzeptieren, wie sie sind. Ein Muslim erträgt seinen Zustand u. sein Schicksal klaglos, auch bei Schicksalsschlägen: " Doch es mag sein, dass euch etwas widerwärtig ist, was gut für euch ist, und es mag sein, dass euch etwas lieb ist, was übel für euch ist. Und Allah weiß es, doch ihr wisst es nicht." [2:216] Ein Muslim ist jemand, der sich dem Willen Gottes vollständig unterworfen hat. Daher sollte er keinesfallls mit der Bestimmung Gottes und Seiner Vorsehung hadern. (MF)

"Und so nimm, was Ich dir gegeben habe und gehöre zu den Dankbaren." (Quran 7:144)
