And let his brother or companions say to him, yarhamukallaah ('May Allah have mercy upon you'), and if he says, yarhamukallaah, let him say, yahdikumullaahu wa yuslihu baalakum ('May Allah guide you and straighten your affairs')."     15 Tonnen Altkleider aus Lindau und Tirol helfen Flüchtlingen in Syrien

    Er selbst ist in Damaskus geboren und lebt seit Jahrzehnten in Deutschland. Doch der Lindauer Adnan Wahhoud hat seine Heimat Syrien nicht aus den Augen verloren. So ist der Bürgerkrieg dort für ihn eine Tragödie, die ihn aufwühlt. Die aber auch immense Energien freisetzt: Zum zwölften Mal seit Ausbruch des Krieges ist der Lindauer inzwischen in seine ehemalige Heimat gefahren, um Flüchtlingen und den Familien von Getöteten zu helfen. Dieses Mal haben Wahhoud und seine Helfer an die 15 Tonnen Altkleider aus Lindau und Tirol im Gepäck gehabt. Sieben Tage brauchten sie, um den Inhalt des Containers in den nordsyrischen Provinzen Idleb, Aleppo und Latakia zu verteilen.
