    Studie: 90 Prozent der US-Amerikaner bezweifeln Evolutionstheorie!

    Laut einer jüngsten Umfrage in den USA sollen mindestens 90 Prozent der US-Amerikaner den Wahrheitsgehalt der in Schulen, Unis und öffentlichen Medien propagierte Evolutionstheorie bezweifeln.

    Vielmehr glauben sie an einen göttlichen Einfluss bei der Entstehung des Lebens. So schreibt beispielsweise FOCUS Online:

    "Nur rund 9,5 Prozent seien davon überzeugt, dass Gott oder eine andere höhere Macht absolut keinen Einfluss auf die Entstehung des Universums und des menschlichen Lebens hatten, sagte Elaine Howard Ecklund von der Rice Universität.

    Die anderen rund 90 Prozent der insgesamt mehr als 10.000 Befragten gaben an, dass ihrer Meinung nach Gott oder eine andere höhere Macht ganz oder zumindest teilweise für die Entstehung des Alls, der Erde und des Menschen verantwortlich seien."

    Die Ergebnisse der Umfrage seien am Sonntag beim Jahrestreffen des Wissenschaftsverbands American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) in Chicago vorgestellt worden.

    Viele der Befragten würden sich zudem die Abschaffung der Evolutionslehre in den Schulen wünschen. Stattdessen solle der Kreationismus gelehrt werden.

    Selbst unter den befragten Wissenschaftlern, die meist – sofern sie internationale Anerkennung erhalten – unter eingeschränkten scheint die deutliche Mehrheit an den göttlichen Ursprung des Universums zu glauben.

There is no well near by so the children need to walk towards the nearest river to bring back water for the families on a daily basis.
