Heute ist der Todestag von Sulṭân 'Abdu'l-Hamîd-i sânî (II.) -Raḥimahullâh ta'âla aleyh- Sulṭân 'Abdu'l-Hamîd-i sânî ist für mich persönlich kaum zu beschreiben. İch finde keine Worte, die ihn auch nur annähernd richtig beschreiben könnten. Und könnte man es in Worte fassen, so würde es trotzdem nicht mal -ansatzweise- diesen großen Ḫalîfen beschreiben. Sulṭân 'Abdu'l-Hamîd-i sânî (II.) -Raḥimahullâh ta'âla aleyh- wurde von vielen Persönlichkeiten mit verschiedenen Herrschaftstiteln bezeichnet; Serdâr-ı Hâkân (Der Oberhaupt der Khanan) Ulu Hâkân (Der große Khan) Son İmparator (Der letzte İparator) Bave Kurde (Vater der Kurden) u.v.m. Lass uns, uns anschauen, was seine Tochter 'Â'işe ('Os̲mânoğlu) in ihrem Buch "Mein Vater Sulṭân 'Abdu'l-Hamîd" (Babam Sulṭân 'Abdu'l-Hamîd) über seine Charaktereigenschaften geschrieben hat: >>Er wollte weder das sein Harem (seine mahram) noch seine Töchter sich in Amtsgeschäfte und Staatsangelegenheiten einmischen. Wenn er einen Fehler von uns (seinen Töchtern) sah, oder es fühlte, sagte er es uns nie persönlich (damit unsere Gefühle nicht verletzt wurden), sondern redete mit unseren Müttern darüber. Wir wussten ganz genau, wie wir bei seinem Anwesenheit sprechen und uns zu benehmen hatten. Er wollte, das wir uns ganz einfach kleideten. Er wollte nicht das wir zu viel schnik-schnak (cicili bicili) trugen. Weder unsere Kragen, noch durften unsere Arme niemals offen sein, selbst wenn wir in unseren Gemächern waren. Wenn wir den Palast verlassen wollten (für einen Ausflug ect.) achtete er besonders auf unsere Kleidung und wenn er etwas sah, was dem islâmischen Kleidung zuwieder war, forderte er uns immer höflich dazu auf diese zu ändern, erst dann durften wir den Palast verlassen. Er wollte nicht das wir mit Handzeichen oder lauter Stimme redeten. Er achtete sehr darauf, dass wir uns immer ruhig und höflich bewegten. Er mochte es überhaupt nicht, wenn wir unseren Älteren, Müttern, Brüder und Schwestern gegenüber respektlos waren. Er wollte nicht das wir vor den älteren liefen und achtete sehr darauf, dass jeder seine Reihe behielt. Vorallen mochte er es nicht, wenn wir uns eingebildet und verwöhnt benommen. Er sprach niemanden mit "Du" an. Zu uns sagte er immer "Meine Tochter" oder "Meine Königin" (Sulṭânım).
