Es überliefert Anas (r), dass ein Araber vom Lande den Propheten (s) fragte: "Wann wird die Stunde (des Jüngsten Tages) kommen?" Er fragte ihn zurück: "Welche Vorbereitungen hast du dafür getroffen?" Er sagte: "(Nur) die Liebe Allahs und Seines Gesandten." Daraufhin sagte der Prophet (s) zu ihm: "Du wirst mit denen sein, die du liebst." (Al-Bukhari und Muslim)

Es sprach der Gesandte Allahs (s.):

„Es wird eine Zeit über die Menschen hereinbrechen, in der jener, der standhaft am Islam festhält, so sein wird, als ob er glühende Kohle in Händen hält."

In einem weiteren Hadith von Al-Hakim über Ibn Umar tradiert heißt es:

„Es werden Versuchungen über meine Umma hereinbrechen, so schwarz wie die finsterste Nacht. In ihnen wird ein Mann am Morgen noch gläubig und am Abend schon ungläubig sein. Er wird am Abend noch gläubig und am Morgen schon ungläubig sein. Leute werden ihren Dīn für wenige irdische Güter verkaufen."

Wenden sich die Muslime dem Islam ernsthaft zu, so werden sie sich nicht nur ihrer wahren Identität bewusst. Sie werden darüber hinaus zu stolzen Verkündern der islamischen Botschaft und zu den besten und ehrenvollsten Menschen auf Erden überhaupt.

So spricht der Erhabene (s.w.t.) im Koran:

„Und wer ist besser in der Rede als einer, der zu Allah ruft, Gutes tut und spricht:
Ich bin einer der Gottergebenen." (Sure 41, Vers 33)
