„Bei Allah, einer der Jugendlichen kam zu mir, und er pflegte mich immer zu besuchen. Er liebte mich, und er war Jordanier. Er nahm Shukri Mustafa als einen Führer, und wurde fasziniert durch seine Ideen. Ich habe niemals einen Jugendlichen gesehen, der so fest an
seinem Glauben hielt wir dieser. Er war Student der Pharmazie, und er kam manchmal um sein Fasten mit mir in Kairo zu brechen. Eines Tages, nachdem er Shukri Mustafa getroffen hatte, kam er um mich zu besuchen. Er begann zu sprechen, und ich begab mich in eine Diskussion mit ihm. Plötzlich war es Zeit zu beten. Ich bemerkte dass er sich sträubte hinter mir zu beten, so sagte ich zu ihm: „Bitte, führe uns im Gebet." So schritt er vor und führte uns. Nach diesem Ereignis sagte er jedes Mal, wenn ich voranging um das Gebet zu leiten, dass er auf der Reise ist (damit er es führen kann). Dann fragte ich ihn, auf eine direkte Art und Weise, „Was denkst du über mich?"
Er fragte: „ Willst du, dass ich offen mit dir bin?"
Ich sagte: „Ja, sei offen."
Er sagte: „Ich sehe dich als einen Ungläubigen an."
Ich fragte: „Warum mein Sohn? Was ist der Grund?"
Er antwortete: „Du bist von den Ikhwan al-Muslimin (Muslim Bruderschaft)."
Ich sagte: „OK."
Er fuhr fort: „Jeder von den Ikhwan al-Muslimin ist ein Ungläubiger."
Ich fragte: „Warum?"
Er sagte: „Weil sie keinen Takfir (jemanden als Ungläubigen erklären) auf al-Hudaybi machen, den Ungläubigen [*]."
Stelle dir vor! Mit solcher Leichtigkeit! Ich sagte ihm: „Komm lass mich dir sagen: ash-Shafi ́i und Ahmad bin Hanbal hatte verschiedene Meinungen über den Unglauben desjenigen, der das Gebet aus Faulheit unterlässt. Ash-Shafi ́i sagt das er kein Ungläubiger ist, und Ahmad sagt er ist ein Ungläubiger, und dann diskutierten sie darüber, ohne das einer der beiden den anderen als Ungläubigen bezeichnete."
Subhan ALLAH! Wegen diesem extremen Eifer und Emotionen, sagte er mir, in seinen exakten Worten: „Wenn ich anwesend gewesen wäre, und mit ash-Shafi ́i debattiert hätte, und er sich geweigert hätte takfir zu machen, hätte ich ash-Shafi ́i als Ungläubigen bezeichnet."
Ich sagte: „Es gibt keine Gewalt noch Macht außer ALLAH. Wir sind fertig. Verschwinde von hier. Wenn es (bis) zu diesem Punkt gekommen ist, dann sind wir fertig miteinander."
Und ja, er verstrickte sich schließlich mit Shukri Mustafa, und erhielt eine Strafe von 15 Jahren, und er ist noch bis heute im Gefängnis. Sie sind aufgrund ihres Mangels an Wissen einfach nur Jugendliche mit großem Eifer, und die Herzen dieser Jugendlichen wurden so, dass sie ihren Gelüsten folgen."

[*] al-Hudaybi (Möge Allah barmherzig mit ihm sein) war ein Gelehrter von den Ikhwan, der von ́Abd an-Nasir eingesperrt wurde. Obwohl er selber ́Abd an –Nasir als einen Ungläubigen ansah, als er im Gefängnis gefoltert wurde, und er gefragt wurde ob ́Abd an- Nasir ein Ungläubiger sei, antwortete er: „Was würden wir gewinnen, falls wir ihn zum Ungläubigen oder nicht zum Ungläubigen erklären?" – dies aus Weisheit sagend, um zu vermeiden ein verurteilendes Zeugnis gegen sich selbst durch seine Zunge zu haben. Sodann machte die Gruppe von Shukri Takfir auf al-Hudaybi, aufgrund der Antwort die er gab, welche nicht ausdrücklich den Takfir auf Abd an-Nasir beinhaltete. Sie gingen sogar weiter, und erklärten die Ikhwan als Kuffar weil sie nicht Takfir auf al-Hudaybi machten.

Einst saßen wir bei dem Propheten (s), als ein Mann an uns vorbeiging. Der Prophet (s) fragte einen von uns: "Was denkst du von diesem Mann?" Er antwortete: "Ich denke, er ist ein edler Herr. Bei Allah, er kann erfolgreich um die Hand jeder Frau bitten, ohne dass man ihn zurückweist, und für jeden erfolgreich Fürsprache einlegen." Der Gesandte Allahs (s) schwieg. Danach kam ein anderer vorbei, und der Gesandte Allahs (s) fragte jenen Mann wieder: "Und was denkst du über diesen?" Er antwortete: "Oh Gesandter Allahs! Das ist irgendein armer Muslim! Bei Allah, man wird ihn ablehnen, wenn er um die Hand einer Braut bitten sollte, und ihn zurückweisen, wenn er für jemanden sprechen sollte, und kein Mensch würde ihm zuhören." Daraufhin sprach der Gesandte Allahs (s): "Dieser (arme Muslim) ist (in der Waagschale Gottes) besser als alle Bewohner der Erde des anderen Typs."
